The pack gather at the Lakeside, feeding the ducks, whilst waiting for the Hare, Kunoath, to show up. When he did he showed Sting his "arrow stamper" and, being suitable impressed, she said she wanted one and that this would give Rat something to do during the remainder of his school holidays. Kunoath then said that trail was marked on the left-hand side of the roadway - except for the few places where it was on the right. Then it was "On On"!
With that, most of the pack were seen to head towards Nurigong St, and, shock horror, the Hash Horn was even heard to sound - but then Bandit then called the Pack on trail as he headed around the back of Frog Hollow and out onto Atkins St.. Here Bandit found a "Two-Way", and lucked in, finding trail heading left to a "Three-Way" at MacAuley St..
This time Bandit blew it, giving the pack time to catch up as he checked out a false trail. Rat found trail heading down toward Panmure St., but could have been a bit more vocal in calling the pack "On". When the pack got to Panmure St., they though Rat must have been joking, as trail could not be found anywhere along Panmure St.. It was about then that they noticed Hare, Kunoath, following MacAuley St onto a dirt track, so decided to follow. Eventually, they found trail heading alongside the rail track, heading for Wodonga. It was then that Bandit asked if anybody knew what time the trains used this part of the track, remembering a run set some time ago by Gadget, when the pack, using torches as you do, were responsible for stopping the train when the driver noticed the torches and thought it meant trouble.
At Olive St., trail turned south along the left-hand side and headed into nowhere for a distance, before an arrow pointed across the road and back up the other side, back across the railway, where Kunoath and Gunna were waiting then left into Abercorn St.. Trail continued passed Gunna place (he wasn't home), passed the Italian Club and right into Townsend St., to an "On Home" found by Bandit and Bobcat, all the rest having previously turned On Home.
Nosh was Pizzas. Discussion then followed about the 1111th run this weekend and then about the "State to State" Fun Run, because Bobcat had been hard at work when discussion occurred last week. It was decided that we did not have the manpower currently to hold a Hash weekend event in conjunction with the "State to State" Fun Run. But then later discussion centered on whether the Annual Hash Winery Bike Ride, organised by other Hash but held at Rutherglen, might not be moved to coincide with the "State to State" Fun Run. More to follow.
