Last Weeks Run

As the pack began to arrive, Kunoath was out the back gate to set trail, or, rather, a false trail, as he was to tell the pack when he returned about ten minutes later. And he was to be shown correct. More soon.

Eventually, Kunoath said the "On On" was out the back gate (No, he's joking!!!) so Bandit checked West and Bobcat checked East, with Bobcat being shown to be correct, as trail headed along Gray St and into the Borella Rd service rd. and on to a 360 degree check on the medium strip at the intersection with Keene St. After the pack had all collected, Bandit went South (Up Hill) but only found one arrow, Bobcat went North and found nothing and Gunna went East. Again, East was the way to go, but only as far as a "FT" at the East St junction.

It was about this time that it was noticed that TuckerBox was now on her own. She had previously been in the company of Kunoath, but TB now told the pack that Kunoath had left to continue setting trail (this is the False Trail that Kunoath had ducked out to set as the pack arrived at the "On On") , so it was back to the last check, to re-check it out. Lo and behold, trail was now found to extend past the one arrows Bandit had previously found heading uphill (in fact there were now two arrows before the one arrow Bandit had found) and trail was now heading up into the East Hill bushland. Around and around, up and down, trail led through the scrubs and along dirt paths, eventually ending up at the dead end of Whinray St., where, after its intersection with Downside St., the "On Home" was found.

Nosh was Bar-B-Que Snags of assorted flavors. Discussion followed about the State to State Fun Run, which, this year, is to be sponsored by "The River" radio station on Sunday, 14th March. Hashers are asked to seek other sponsors/prize donators for the run. Some/All of the profit from the run will go towards the Heart Health charity (It should be known that Kunoath, as a member of Heart Health, stood aside when this decision was made.).
