At Bandits run last week, It was a case of the return of the long lost runners, this week it was a case of the return to the long forgotten "On On", as, after several (or many) years, we returned to Runarounds property, for one of his lolly runs. Time was getting On, and the pack was getting very restless, when, at a very late 6:30 Hash time, TuckerBox finally was seen to turn into Runaround driveway, so, when she finally made it to the house, the call was "On".

Obviously Runaround needs practice setting runs as the very first arrow had the pack discussing whether it was sending the pack around the house paddock (i.e. Bobcats mob) or should they go out into the fields and then turn left (Bandits pack). Eventually, Bandit was able to find proof of trail, so it was off through the paddock and down into the creekline. Totally missing the Hash Halt, Kunoath, Bobcat and Bandit were madly scrambling over the rocks up the creekline, looking for trail, when Runaround called them back to the Hash Halt.

Having not found trail up the creekline, the pack decided to follow the cartracks across the creek and up the other side of the ravine, and the cartracks, and trail, continued across the next paddock to another Hash Halt at the next gate. Runaround told the pack that where we were stand was actually public roadway, so, it seemed, we followed the (grass) road to the next fenceline and another Hash Halt. Trail separated here, with the Rambo's heading uphill, whilst the Wimp's headed for the old Homestead, and "old" is an appropriate term as the plaque outside the homestead indicated that it was built around 1840.

Once the Rambo's had rejoined the Wimp's, the pack headed for the cattle yards, where Runarounds brother was busy loading up a truckload headed for the saleyards. After stopping for a brief chat, the pack headed down the "driveway" and out the front gate, and "On" down the roadway, and "On Home".
