On a Cool, Dry, but threatening evening (lightning was constantly flashing all around the horizon), a small, but hardy, pack, which, this week, included Killa from Devonport H3 who was on his way to Sydney for an Antiques Fair, gathered at the entrance to the Horseshoe Lagoons ready for the "On". Eventually, the Hare, Bobcat, handed out envelopes that contained directions to the various Hash Halts and one envelope that contained the all-important Map of Albury. And with that it was "On On".

The first envelope had the pack, led by visitor Killa, who had the map, heading up behind the medical specialists' offices to the intersection of Sunset Dve and Mayfair Ave, then the second envelope directed the pack to the intersection of Pemberton Rd and O'Brien St for another Hash Halt. Then it was 'On' to the intersection of Rosedale and Hugh Sts. The fourth envelope directed the pack to the intersection of Briwood and Banksia Sts and the pack was deciding whether it would be quicker to head back down Rosedale St then into Drysdale or should the pack head to the end of Rosedale and across country to Briwood Ave. It was just as the pack was about to split up, that Kunoath noticed the pathway opposite Hugh St. that led almost directly to Banksia St.

The fifth envelope had the pack heading to the intersection of Kurrajong Creas. and Hakea Pl., and the next envelope had the pack heading for the intersection of Pemberton St. and Spurway Dve. but the walkers decided they had had enough, so when they got back onto Pemberton St they headed "On Home" whilst the "Rambo"'s headed for the intersection. From there, the next to last envelope directed the Rambo's to the intersection of Blackmore and Roper Sts. Then it was "On Home" for the Rambo's.

Nosh was Soup and Down Downs were awarded to Bobcat for the Run, Killa for visiting, and Bandit for failing to post a Hash Trash, or something similar and then another Down Down to Bandit for lighting the Hash Fire Bucket in front of a sign that showed Fires were banned in Horseshoe Lagoon.

Queanbeyan and ACT Region 5000th (what the???)

During the week, I received a 'phone call from Mixo (CH3) wanting to know how many AWH3 hashers might be attending the QACT 5000th run and to let us know that, if they're really keen, they could do 10 Hash Runs in eight days, starting with:-

3rd June Queanbeyan Hash normal run

4th June WACT Hash normal run

5th June ACT Women's Monthly Run

6th June Full Moon Hash Run

7th-9th June QACT 500th runs

9th June 4:00 p.m. Capital H3 normal run

9th June 6:30 p.m. Canberra H3 Normal Run and ending with

10th June Belconnon H3 (Delayed for long weekend) normal run
