Obviously, the On On was too far out of town for most Hashers, as only five Hashers made it to the On On. Not one single Harriette made it.
Anyway, after waiting a suitable time, the Hare said that the trail was mainly marked in chalk but there was a bit of paper then pointed the pack to the On On and away they went. Up Close and down Court and through laneways galore they went, the trail being too difficult to try to list in detail. Eventually, the pack made it back to the On On, to a delightful meal of sausages in bread and assorted drinks.
While enjoying ourselves, we attracted the attention of at least one of the locals (complete with stubby in hand) who came over to find out who these people were that were having a Bar-B-Que on a street corner in the middle of now where (well, the edge of Thurgoona, anyway). After being told who we were and what we were doing there, he went home (or was taken home by his sister), but he returned later (still with stubby in hand), after checking out with his Uncle (who ran marathons) what Hash was about.
Eventually, the pack called it a night, and went their own ways.
