Last Weeks Trail

The pack gathered at Stings place, awaiting the "On". First came the instructions, which were, basically, that there was a Wimp's Run and a Rambo's Run and that the clue's (because of the rain washing out trail, it had been reset on paper) were cryptic. The Wimp's and Rambo's would meet up at some of the Hash Halts, but, apart from that, they were separate runs.

With that it was "On On", and, for the Rambo's anyway, it was On to a Hash Halt at "the House of our Uncle Ben", i.e. the abattoirs. When the five Rambo's got there, it was then On to the Dead Centre of Town (the cemetery) and then to Mr Ed's place (i.e. The Edwards Tavern). Here, we met up with the Wimps for the first time and Rat, who had been with the Rambos, and Sting, who had been with the Wimps, swapped groups.

From here, for the Rambo's, it was past the "place of many words" (the Border Mail building) to the second place of learning (past Wodonga TAFE to Latrobe Uni.) to another Hash Halt. Then it was "On" to be re-united with the Wimps at one of the many intersections on Mayfair Rd.

Again, the Wimps and Rambos separated, with the Rambos heading to Lawrence St and the past Captain Whites Fish and Chip shop to a Hash Halt outside Betta Electrical then it was "On Home". When the Rambos arrived back at the "On On" the only Wimp that was there was Rat. He said that Sting, who had rejoined the Wimps group, had managed to get them lost!

When the rest of the Wimps made it On Home, the Rambos found out that TuckerBox had suffered a fall on the trail and had short cut big time and gone Home. The pack settled on the front verandah to enjoy the Autumn Evening. Nosh was Spag Bol and Down Downs went to The Hare for getting lost, Bandit for new shoes.
