A.G.P.U. Details

Yes, the details for the AGPU have finally been determined by Gunna's gang of Girls. It main location will be the carpark of the Jinjellic (?? Spelling) Hotel. (If you wish something more comfortable, rooms may be rented, at your expense, in the Hotel.) The early birds will be there Friday Evening, with the late comers arriving Saturday Afternoon, hopefully in time for the Run at about 3.00 p.m. After the run, the Current GRAND MATTRESS, Artificial Insemination, will appoint the new committee. Will it be a Grand Mattress, again, or will it be a Grand Master. (I could add "as it should be" but someone would probably say that was sexist!!). Then its on to the Hotel for a fine meal (the other meals will be simple Hash Nosh) before returning to the car park for more merriment. Recovery Run, Sunday Morning, set by the new Trail Master.

Last Weeks Trail

A.I. had had to stand in as Hare because John Doe had once again been called upon to fight fires, so the pack assembled inside and outside her unit, waiting for the "On". Eventually, A.I. assempled the pack, gave her instructions and it was "On On" out the back gate into the lane way. Bandit checked one way (the wrong way, of course) and Bobcat checked the other, eventually calling "On On" as he disappeared around the bend of the laneway and On, ever On, along and then across Beechworth Rd and into Woodland St to a Hash Halt on the corner of William St. (Well, really, the Hash Halt was arond the corner, actually in William St, but the eagle eyed Bobcat (or was it Rat) spotted the marking and waited.)

"On On" down Woodland St and into Charles St then west into Brockley St, past the High School, where some kids were enjoying a game of Tennis, across Brockley St and House Creek before turning onto the pathway through the park to a "Wimps and Rambos" Hash Halt where the paths seperate and head West and South. The "Wimps" were told to follow the path to Willow Park and On Home, whilst the Rambo's headed West, half way to Trudewind Rd, before turning left and then left again onto McFarland Rd to an (imaginary) Hash Halt at the junction with the pathway down to Willow Park. As the pack passed the Bar-B-Que facility and skateboard rink, they attracted the interest of those present, but none could be influnced to join the pack. East on Pearce St, then into Gordon St to check out all the empty blocks of land from where, apparently, former Housing Commision houses have been removed. The "On Home" was found, so the pack went.

Nosh was "Make your own" sandwiches.
