Last Weeks Trail

The pack gathered in front of Rat's (Sting's) place, waiting, waiting, waiting as Bandit said that there were upto four Newbies fronting up tonight, so the pack waited, waited, waited. But no newbies fronted up by the time Rat gave his run instructions, so it was "On On" for the usual suspects. From a "Two Way" outside Rat's place trail led up Melbourne Rd towards central Wodonga, even though Kunoath and John Doe though they were on a good thing when they found what looked like trail on the southern side of Melbourne Rd, heading in the direction of "On Home", but Rat was able to convince them that they were wrong.

Trail led "On" past Blacklocks Ford, crossing Elgin's St to a two way at the corner of Smythe St. Trail was found to continue along Elgin St and across High St at the traffic lights at the Safeway's Corner where a "Two Way" had Bobcat heading toward Jack Horn Place and Kunoath heading toward Sesame St. Eventually, a Hash Halt was found at the carpark end of Sesame St. Across the carpark, across Hovell St, across the council carpark and around into Lawerence St had the pack heading for the pedestrian lights outside the Library. With some waiting for the lights and others not, the pack gathered in the park around the Water Tower. Gathered and went no where, even though some of the pack did head out and check for trail, but, finding nothing, re-gathered at the lights, waiting to be told.

Eventually, Rat told the pack that at this side of the lights there was, really, a "Wimp's and Rambo's" with the Rambo's heading around the Water Tower and back along High St, whilst the Wimps got to go straight across the park to High St, and to the Lights outside the Post Office. When the lights changed, if you waited, and even if you didn't, trail led through the laneway between the Bank and the Butchers, through the carpark to Hume St. It was about here that Sting and Onca headed "On Home" to prepare nosh, with the rest of the pack heading west on Lawerence St across, and then alongside, House Creek to Elgin St, where trail led, using the trail found by Kunoath and John Doe at the start of the trail, back "On Home".

Nosh was Taco's. The Grand Matress, A.I., who was in attendance, just for a change, called an impromptu meeting to discuss the preparations for the upcoming "State to State" Fun Run and A.G.P.U., then, as it was getting dark, the pack started to head their own ways "On Out".
