The weather was reasonably warm, but still smoky, as the pack, including first timer Yvonne, with tyres or lilos in hand, gathered at the riverside park for a nice, leasurely float down river. The pack gathered and waited. And waited. And waited ...... for Gunna to show up. Eventually, he did, in his boat, with another, as yet unknown, passenger. With very little ado, it was into the water for the pack and "On Down" the river, that is.

The Pack floated, seperated, floated, overtook each other, floated and eventually decided that enough was enough and made for the bank down near Doctor's Point. Gunna and his mate, who had also brought along a boat, made several trips to land everybody. Kunoath's girls were first to make landfall and were then tasked by Gunna to go get some nosh, pizza, whatever was still open. When the rest of the water party were landed, they made their way back to the "On On", as darkness was gathering, to find Chips, Potato Cakes and Dim Sins waiting. It was about this time that Gunna introduced the pack to his passenger, Merle, who is a nurse working, for a short time, at the Albury Base Hospital, whom Gunna had discovered exploring the area so invited her to keep him company in the boat!!
