Last Weeks Trail

At the appropiate time, the Hare, Bobcat, called for the packs attention, and eventually he got it. He told the pack that the trail had been set in clalk and paper (hanging from branches, bushes, etc), if we found three togeather that was the "On Home", and that the "On On" was at our feet, so it was "On On" and "On Out".

Trail led across the road and alongside the Soccer Field, with the pack already having troubles finding trail, but only because those that were not out looking for trail were too ready to follow anybody that called "On One" as though they had called "On On", but after following hopeful trail blazers down too many wrong trails, they eventually worked out what to do. The fact that the trail was poorly marked, as well, did not help!!!

Eventually, when the pack had almost worked themselves out, trail was to led them along the exercise trail on the causeway, and then towards the duck hide (which was very well hidden because the pack did not find it), and back onto the exercise trail, because they had once again been led up a false trail. The real trail was found to lead under the causeway roadways to the path on the west side and from there into the nearby paddocks.

The paddocks were almost bare, so Bobcat had tied the ribbons to just about the only things standing. In any case, trail led down to one (possibly the only one) creek with any water in it, well enough water for A.I. to slide into from the branches that were being used as a rough sort of a bridge. Just across the creek were the three marks togeather, so it was "On Home".

Nosh could have been the soup recovered from Bobcats last attempt as Hare (See Run 1058) but was deffinately still edible. Talk then turned to the up-coming A.G.P.U. and various locations were discussed with further investigations to follow, before a decision at the end of the month.

The pack nattered on into the night before actually departing.
