Gunna and John Doe had slaved their gut's out touring South Western Victoria on bicycles for the last eight or nine days, so Gunna was not energetic enough to actually mark a run so pack amblied its way east along Abercorn St to a check at Olive St from where trail was found to lead over, and then west alongside, the railway lines. No trains were evident whilst the pack were on the tracks, even when on the bridge crossing the Murray River. A Hash Halt was called, on the unmarked trail, so Gunna could go and releave himself. Trail then followed the Exercise path to cross the Murray River again, this time by the Union Bridge, then South East along Oddies Creek to Atkins St, then south along Townsend St, where some of the locals were amusing themselves chucking "handbrakees", so that the pack arrived back at the "On On", to wait for Gunna to go get the "Nosh" (the cupboards were bare due to Gunna's almost completed move), Chips, Dimmies, Potato cakes, etc.
