It would seem that the hashers desire to travel is still very limited in AWH3 as only three made it to the On On for the start of the run, Hare Gunna, Bandit and Kunoath. After waiting for a while to see if there were any further travellers, Gunna asked which way did we want the trail to go, back up the road or along the trail beside the fence. Without waiting for Kunoath to reply, Bandit was off, along the side trail but didn't get far before carlights were seen coming down from the hill top. Well, perhaps Bobcat got here really early, and had gone for a drive, but, no, it was the landholder taking the family out for the evening, so off we set down the side road again.

In the growing darkness, following trail soon become hazardous, avoiding puddles in the wellworn wheel ruts, roadside shrubs and low hanging tree limbs. At one point, where it was difficult to descern exactly which way the track went, an unscheduled check was thrown into the trail, with Kunoath heading one way and Bandit heading another. Eventually, Kunoath gave up on his trail-blazing efforts and joined Bandit and Gunna on the track. A couple more hills and dales, and Gunna decided that enough was enough, and decided that we had come to the end of the trail, so it was On Home.

Nosh was mussels and calamari and as the evening soon got cool, the pack soon dispersed.
