Don't forget to be at Bobcat's place after the run this Monday, for a short meeting to make decissions about the running of The State to State Fun Run, 2003.
The pack was even smaller than usual, proir to the run, consisting only of Hare Gunna with Hounds Bandit and Bobcat. Gunna explained that, against all traditions, the trail did not lead down the "roadway" towards the Wodonga Creek, but, this time, trail led up the "roadway" towards the Airport, then along the dirt path adjacent to the Riverina Highway, in search of a bottle of Baileys, which Gunna had secretted somewhere.
As the pack was about one third of the way from the start to the Airport, one of the few vehicles that passed us was identified to belonging to Kunoath, who, it seems, has slipped back into his habit of arriving late for the run, but at least he arrived.
Eventually, adjacent to a roadside guardrail, Gunna decided that the pack should have come far enough to be somewhere in the region of the promised bottle of Baileys, so the pack started the serious search and rescue task, but, after about ten minutes of searching even Gunna was not sure if this was the right region after all, so the pack set off for the nect section of roadway with a guardrail, but it was definitely not the spot, so it was back to the first search area.
Upon returning to the first search area, almost immeditely, the bottle was located, consumed and the pack returned to the On On.
Nosh was Bar-B-Qued Chicken.
