The pack, this week including Tone Up, gathered awaiting the "ON", and it was about this time that Bandit, the hare, realised that he had organised the cooker for Nosh, brought the cooking pot and the plates to serve the nosh up in but had forgotten the actual Nosh, so it was going to be pizza's again.
Eventually, it was "On On" as the trail led up the pathway alongside the ABC studios, along High St and down Wodonga St to a Hash Halt under the street light on the corner of Hovell St. Well there was a Hash Halt, but most of the chalk had been removed by overriding cars. From here, trail led up Hovell St and left into Osburn St to a second Hash Halt at Queen St. Right into Queen St, right into Reid St and left into Havelock St, to another Hash Halt, again under one of the street lights.
From here, it was "On On" and right into Lawrence St, to the lights outside the Civic Centre and another Hash Halt. Then it was On On to the lights outside the Post Office, through the carpark at the rear of the Bank of Melbourne (How do you like the plug, Withdrawal?), right into Hume St and across the Rail Tracks at High St, into Bond St and then spotting the "On Home" in Church St.
Bandit went and got the pizzas whilst the rest of the pack got the fire bucket lit and waited. Eventually Bandit returned with an assortment of pizzas so nosh was had and a few drinks drunk, before the pack fragmented and went thier own ways
City to Surf
Its that time of year, almost. Anybody looking to make it to Sydney for the Fleet Hash and City to Surf, let me know if you want accomidation booked at the YHA and also if you need transport.
Also, if the weather is fine and I'm feeling motivated enough, I intend to cover the distance (notice I did not actually mention running) from my place to the top of Huons Hills and return (a distance of almost 14km) each weekend. If anybody is interested in keeping me company, let me know.
