On a fine, but brisk, evening, the pack gathered (amid rumours of the return of long absent Hasher, Mr Ed, and the return, again, of Tone-Up), in the Car-park of the Springdale Heights Tavern. Why on the outside and not inside, I don't know.

Eventually, with our hopes dashed, Bobcat called "On On" and indicated the start of trail. Trail led through and around the parks and pathways of Springdale Heights around Barnample Way, thence over toward Gardogong Rd and, finally, into Schaefer St before the On Home was espied as Bobcat took the lead of the pack, wanting to get back to the "On On" to start warming the Nosh.

Nosh was consumed and a few drinks drunk, then it was "All Out" and "On Home" to the real homes, (without sight of either Mr Ed or Tone-Up).

Its that time of year, almost. Anybody looking to make it to Sydney for the Fleet Hash and City to Surf, let me know if you want accomidation booked at the YHA and also if you need transport.

Also, if the weather is fine and I'm feeling motivated enough, I intend to cover the distance (notice I did not actually mention running) from my place to the top of Huons Hills and return (a distance of almost 14km) each weekend. If anybody is interested in keeping me company, let me know.
