A rejuvinated Pack, with numbers almost reaching double figures, awaited the arrival of Tone Up, who, not haveing attended HASH for a few weeks, seemed unable to locate Willow Park, without detailed, phoned, instructions. Eventually, Bandit informed the pack that, due to the inclement weather, the trail would be a "paper clue" trail, so Bandit handed out the seven clues."

The first leg of the trail had the pack heading to Protractors old place in Lee Court. It must have been the cool weather that made the pack a bit slow at the start, so slow that the Hare had to struggle to stay behind one, anyone, of the runners. At Protractors place, Kunoath found a convenient street light to read the location of the second Has Halt, the Biralee Tavern. This provided a nice, dark, run through the parklands of West Wodonga, before the pack managered to assemble OUTSIDE the Birra.

From there, it was a short jornt to the Third Hash Halt, outside the Doctors Place on the corner of Melrose Drive and Waratah Way. At this point the pack decided that going all the way to "Captain White's seafood shop" was too far out of the way, so Hash Halt Four was bypassed and it was on to Hash Halt five at the Bar-B-Que in Les Stone park. This gave Bandit the chance to point out the former abode of another former Hasher, Smallbore. From here it was on to the Wodonga Hospital, for another Hash Halt, before, finally, heading On Home.

Bandit ducked off to get the evenings repast of Chips, Potato Cakes, Dim Sims and Scollopes, whilst the GM, A.I. presented assorted various Down Downs, and there were a lot, because they were still going on when Bandit returned with the Nosh only to be awarded a down down himself for the brillant run.

City to Surf

Its that time of year, almost. Anybody looking to make it to Sydney for the Fleet Hash and City to Surf, let me know if you want accomidation booked at the YHA and also if you need transport.

Also, if the weather is fine and I'm feeling motiveted enough, I intend to cover the distance (notice I did not actually mention running) from my place to the top of Huons Hills and return (a distance of almost 14km) each weekend. If anybody is interested in keeping me company, let me know, also.
