A small, but elite, group assembled on Houn Hill, awaiting the start. Rumours abounded that the new On Sec, Tone Up, would actually attend this run and, further, that Half Can and Woffil would be attending for their final runs before heading for warmer climes. But, alais, neither rumour turned out to be true.

Eventually, Gunna told us all to pile into/onto his ute so he could take us to the start of the run, which was about 4 km down (emphasis on DOWN) the track that we had just driven up. The tempting bit of bait that he through at us was that at one of the cattle grids we had to cross on our way back up there would be a bottle of Baileys Irish Cream.

So, it was ON ON, back up the track we had just been driven down. ON Up and ON UP and ON UP. The Baileys was, eventually, located and consumed and it was ON, further ON, until, finally, we got back to where we started from, sort of like we do each week.

Nosh was Roast Chicken, but, this time, just for something different, Supermarket Chicken rather than Gunna's traditional Red Rooster.
