The pack assembled at Acacia Car Park waiting for the Hare to arrive when around the corner strolled the Hare (TJ) and AI (misty eyed but not glazed). With a full week-end behind her the Hare went to extra ordinary lengths to design a run that was to traverse diagonally across Wodonga. With unmarked envelopes TJ shuffled the directions in order then proceeded to number them one - 6. Instruction No.1 had the pack heading for to the Swing bridge led by the gazelle (FIIK) who luckily knew where the bridge was. FIIK and Bobcat waited for Gunna, AI, Jenny and Tone-Up to stroll into the HH and still waited for TJ and AI. Direction No.2 had "The Birralee" so Bandit instructed FIIK how to reach the Pub on Moorefield Park road; !!! The Edward Tavern ???. The order of instructions had us scampering diagonally across Wodonga.
From the Birralee it was up to Car Lovers where on our way we found Bandit coming back on track. The next clue had us traverse across town to AI's for a drink stop; t'is a long way across town on a cold night. No nibblies just Beer and ice awaited us at AI's HH. By now some had decided to short cut and head for Nosh at Safeway. Gunna as usual had been entertaining the back of the pack with his rendition of how he spent his week-end bush walking and having drinks with Gadget and John Doe in some out of the way cavern in the mountains.
It was time to say good bye to FIIK as his course comes to an end and he heads back to Hobart; Hope you enjoy your posting to Melbourne. This was an enjoyable run which allowed the front running individuals to get a sweat up and then freeze waiting for the leisurely stragglers. Nosh consisted of chip sandwiches washed down with a Chili sauce and then to finish the night off without any strawberries and cream. AI come back
Three guys walk into a motel and find out there is only one room with only one bed. Since it's the only motel in town, the guys decide to share the bed. They get to their room, squeeze in, and fall asleep.
The next morning, the guy on the left side of the bed wakes up and says, "I had the craziest dream about getting the best hand job of my life."
The guy on the right side says, "That's incredible - I had the same dream!"
Then the guy in the middle wakes up and says, "Wow, I had the weirdest dream!" The other two guys nod their heads in anticipation.
"I was cross-country skiing really, really fast..."
